Four days of sharing experiences and knowledge

June 2024 | University of Algarve, Faro

The 2nd METECH, organised by the Interdisciplinary Centre for Archaeology and Evolution of Human Behaviour (ICArEHB) and the Centre for Marine and Environmental Research (CIMA) of the University of Algarve, will take place in Faro in June 2024 at the University of Algarve, Gambelas Campus.

In the 2nd Methods & Techniques for Studying Palaeoenvironments (METECH) Meeting, we aim to present, explore and discuss the latest methodological and technical developments, emerging issues, as well as future challenges inherent to the study of paleoenvironments and human-environmental interactions, contributing to the development of Quaternary Interdisciplinary Studies.

We invite students, academics, researchers and other professionals to present their scientific works. The 2nd METECH aims to promote, disseminate and share experiences, knowledge and results of scientific research among different researchers and stakeholders interested in the use of interdisciplinary methods and techniques applied in Quaternary Studies, favouring cooperation between researchers from different disciplines.
